The new winner will move to New York City where she will live during her reign and become a spokesperson for various charitable causes on behalf of The Miss Universe Organization. On Sunday, June 5, 2016, the 2016 Miss USA Pageant was held  and was broadcast live by FOX from the T-Mobile Arena 3780 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89158. The Miss USA 2016 pageant competition was hosted by Terrence J and Julianne Hough.

And the Miss USA 2016/17 Winner is Deshauna Barber from District Of Columbia. The new winner will move to New York City where she will live during her reign and become a spokesperson for various charitable causes on behalf of The Miss Universe Organization. Miss USA 2016, Deshauna Barber will be roommates with Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach and Miss Teen USA 2015, Katherine Haik.
